Diablo 3 Demon Hunter Items
The Demon Hunter class is one of the ranged classes in Diablo III. Being able to hit enemies from afar, there will be no heavy gains in armor from the Diablo 3 Demon Hunter items or equipment available, but there weapons that can be wielded by this class can provide a very good DPS and some interesting stats that will enhance your skills and damage per second.
Although the Demon Hunter can equip a variety of items, melee and ranged, the focus will be on the ranged weapons, of course, since the melee ones will force you to go face to face with the monsters and receive damage which, because of the lack of armor and HP, the Demon Hunter can’t withstand for a prolonged amount of time.
Diablo 3 Demon Hunter Items - Armor
The Demon Hunter armor pieces are the usual ones, available to the other classes too: Head, Shoulders, Torso, Wrists, Hands, Waist, Legs, Feet, Jewelry and Off Hand. The only compartment here where there is a specific class of items, uniquely created for the Demon Hunter to wear is the Torso, where besides the normal Chest Armor which everyone can wear there are Cloaks.
Diablo 3 Demon Hunter Items - Weapons
The weapons available are various, but some of them will probably be never used since they defeat the ranged purpose of the Demon Hunter. The weapons available for this class are the following:
Diablo 3 Demon Hunter Items - Weapons: Axes, Daggers, Swords, Maces, Spears
Diablo 3 Demon Hunter Items - Ranged Weapons: Bows, Crossbows and Hand Crossbows.
Of course, the items that will be sought for are the Bows, Crossbows and Hand Bows, all giving ranged damage. The unique weapon only the Demon Hunter can equip is the Hand Crossbow, a one handed ranged weapon which when dual wielded can provide good bonuses and also become synergetic with some of the Demon Hunter’s skills and passives.
The main purpose when equipping your Demon hunter is maximizing its DPS and also get a decent survivability so you don’t fall very quick in battle. Although this class has lots of survivability mechanics available through the active skills, when it comes down to having a good DPS, equipping decent items with good base damage is paramount.
It may be wise to find out additional methods to getting Gold or dealing with the RMAH as getting items for your character is no easy feat. The cost alone of testing out a particular Skill Build may be in the millions if not tens of millions of Gold. For that purpose, Diablo 3 Billionaire has proven to be a valuable guide for ensuring you never run out of Gold to constantly update and upgrade gear.
